We encourage our current and past scholarship recipients, Foundation Board and mentors to connect on the Foundation LinkedIn page not only for online connections but also for internships, job placements, training and other opportunities.
MENTOR + MENTEE LUNCHEONS
Annually, scholarship recipients are paired with a Mentor and invited to 2 luncheons where they will connect with their mentors and peers. This is also a time of training, networking and growing connections.
8/8 Send Off Luncheon: This luncheon is an in-person connection opportunity for newly assigned mentors and mentees and is scheduled prior to the start of the scholars 1st semester in college. (Thursday, August 8th 11:30am – 1:30pm – Morales Radio Hall)
12/17 Winter Holiday Luncheon: This luncheon is a check-in opportunity to see how the 1st semester went, share experiences, provide advice and reflect on lessons learned. ( Tuesday, December 17th 11:30am – 1:30 – Location TBD)
